Bio

Over the years, I have developed software for Web browsers, PDAs, smart cards, mobile phones, and game consoles. These devices have constrained memory and processing power, but offer many opportunities for great user experiences. In addition to creating software, I enjoy writing books and articles about technical topics.

I’m currently a member of the mobile apps team at eBay Classifieds in Germany.

P.S.: My name features an o umlaut, but in contexts where umlauts are difficult or impossible, such as e-mail addresses, I spell my name “Claus Hoefele.” oe and ö are pronounced the same in German.
